I think Michael Campbell (CEO) is the next Walt Disney. What you're seeing happen now at your local cineplex, Michael set in motion by simply reinventing going to the movies. I began following REGL in late '95, looking to buy on a burp. It never did...until I bought in two weeks before Memorial Day, seeing as I did an ocean of great movies for the Summer of '96. A week later many more had the same thought, and it shot up further to 47. Since then...dilution, and the late (or still ongoing) unpleasantness. The last 40 days have also been marked by analysts sharply disagreeing with one another. As many "Strong Buys" as 'Sells". But every naysayer ONLY crunches the numbers-of-the-moment and misses the point. When I bought, one of my GO reasons was seeing on a US map that REGL was so far in less than 1/3 of the country. Lots more growth to go. And check out Regal's "Funscapes"! I'm telling you...reinventing going to the movies. Press releases are few...therefore...anyone with me on this? And better...anyone been to a Funscape? (I haven't) How are they doing? Regards, Don MacNeil | ||||||||||||
