Shuffle Master appears to be one of the most undervalued stocks in the stock market today. The current price is 12 1/8 with a yearly high of 19 3/8 and yearly low of 9 1/8. SHFL manufactures, develops, leases and sells automatic card shuffling devices for use in casinos, card rooms and other gaming operations. For the 6 months ended 4/96, revenues rose from 3.2M to 19M and the company anticipates 40M in revenues for the year or a triple of revenues over the previous year. This company has created the latest craze to hit the gaming scene, 'Let it Ride' this is one of the hottest games at casinos today and the company makes a large amount on this game (see my next couple posts for exact amounts). Anticipated earnings in 1997 are for .90 and an anticipated growth rate over the next 5 years is 50% according to 4 analysts. Analyst ratings: 1 strong buy, 3 buys. The company has about 10 mil shares outstanding. SHFL has increased their revenues for 14 STRAIGHT QUARTERS and that streak is expected to continue. The company also holds a large amount of cash that they may use for acquisition or to create another game. Also, their card shufflers are extremely popular.
