hydro electric power plants. The company has also entered into the
telecommunications industry as an alternate provider of communications
service to multiple unit residences across North America."

The latest news release (08/20/96 - Stockwatch) reads as follows:

"The year to date energy production at the Boston Bar Power Plant
is 121.2% of target level. This is a21,2% increase over original
target levels, and works out to approximately $650,000 in revenue
realized for the Boston Bar Power Plant joint venture partners.
BC Hydro statements for the quarter ended July 1996 indicate
production levels as follows: May 4,235,278 Kwh; June 4,445,138 Kwh;
and July 3,848,073 Kwh.
