QQQ is the trading symbol for the Nasdaq-100 Trust, Series 1. It is a unit investment trust that tracks the price of the stocks which make up the Nasdaq-100 Index (these are the largest and most-actively traded companies on the Nasdaq exchange). QQQ trades on the AMEX. The price of QQQ generally corresponds to the performance of its component equities.
