ZixIt Corporation, formerly CustomTracks, formerly Amtech, markets a secure e-mail/document delivery system called ZixMail. It is also developing an Internet-based transaction payment system called ZixCharge, and is involved in a lawsuit against Visa International regarding the marketing of this latter product. They are said to have numerous other products in the works but this is difficult to reconcile with the decrease in the company's R&D expenditures.
However, none of that really matters, since this stock has become the plaything of daytraders and management's efforts to support its stock price through high-profile yet frequently misleading PR. Enter at your own risk -- long or short. |
