There has been talk of how we can make a tribute to our friend Edwarda. Earlier today I suggested we sponsor a spot on the "Hunger Site" for a day. I specifically thought on her birth date, which was also the anniversary date of her joining SI. To follow the origination of this idea, here is a place to start #reply-13913013
I have emailed the hunger site to find out the needed information. I will post it, when I hear from them.
To handle the payment of sponsoring the hunger site, or thinking of a scholarship at her Alma Mater, which was another suggestion. We thought to get the ball rolling and make this happen. Myself along with Shoot1st (who lives not far from me) and for accountability purposes would open an account...Calling it the Edwarda Memorial Fund and requiring both signatures on it. We will set up the account that contributions can be made directly to the account or sent to a PO Box......and then deposited to the account. We would make account information available...
I am not sure of all the technicalities of this...
I am open to opinions and help...This was just a starting point.
