Introduction Compact

Here we are, at the beginning of August, and the work on
"The Edwarda Memorial Fund" is coming along. I feel like I had kinda dropped the ball on this, as I was in need of dealing with some personal issues, and needed to be away from SI for a bit. I am glad that as a team with Shootie, Neocon and myself, that even in my absence, that working towards the Memorial Goals continued.

I am thankful for Shootie and Neocon for the time they have spent getting and keeping this ball rolling......Here's where we are at with this now.

We have decided to contribute to Blue Heron Theater in Monica's name, and will have a plaque memorializing Monica, since she contributed and served on its board, and the founders are her friends. The precise thing we fund will depend on how much we get, and Neocon will negotiate it.

There are several options for contributing to the fund. There is a PO Box set up for this purpose. The address is as follows:

Another option is to send out the checks directly to the Theatre.

Checks may be made out to Blue Heron Theatre,Inc. or Blue Heron Arts Center. Be sure name and address of donor included since these are tax deductible charitable contributions, and we will acknowledge each individually. Address correspondence to me at Blue Heron Theatre, Inc, 123 East 24th Street, NY,NY 10010.

We have about $2500 in hand, perhaps another thousand or so pledged, and hope to reach $5000 by the end of September, to fund something impressive...........

Keep the checks coming, as Monica lives on in our hearts..and will soon touch the hearts of those who we reach at the Blue Heron!!
