There has been talk of how we can make a tribute to our friend Edwarda. There have been many good ideas as to how this can best be accomplished. But at some point I feel a decision needs to be made....then letting people where the money will go.
To help make that happen, we are asking that over the
week people post their first and second choice of where the money should be directed.
I would like to modify this subject again a week Monday with a definitive decision as to where and how the money will be dispersed. At that point people will be able to decide to contribute to the fund, or decide if they would prefer to seek their own way of honoring the memory of Edwarda.
I do not mean this to sound pushy, but I do believe decisions are needed, so that people can make their own decisions. Please also feel free to tell me if you feel that a decision could wait awhile.
Several of the suggested uses for the Memorial Fund are:
-sponsoring the hunger site for a day.
-supporting the theatre group in NYC that she was connected to
-scholarship fund at her Alma Mater
-membership(s) to SI, given as a random act(s) of kindness, on behalf of Edwarda
-other???
If I missed any previously discussed options.....please let me know and I will add them to this header.
