.........This forum is designed to mimic the old Killietalk forum which was a very popular feature for killifish hobbyists in years past. Killie hobbyists are encouraged to post questions, husbandry tips, notices, sources of killies, breeding experiences, live food culture, water conditions, etc......... most anything related to the killie hobby......the obvious assumption is that virtually all members will be FREE subscribers.....As such, there will be some premium features of the site not available to them.....However, anyone can join....There is no screening process......Lively discussion is encourgaed although obvious trolls will be banned. The board IS moderated........and clearly offensive posts can be deleted.
.........Silicon Investor has very many useful features that heighten the experience here.....some are limited to paid subscriptions. However, useful features abound ...even for free users.........I encourage you to explore the site.........Some quick tips......Free subscribers are limited to 5 posts a day.....One can make public replies to a post which everyone sees or send a private reply/post to the author which he only sees. The "search" feature is very useful to locate prior posts or authors.........the "keep" feature lets you permanently mark and locate posts which you may have found of enough interest to want to re-examine later.....the "ignore" feature allows you to screen out posts from people who for whatever reason you would rather not see. There are many many other useful features........GO FOR IT...............and enjoy the Killietalk experience! |
