We are not debating medicine. You said Gulf Syndrome could be caused by soldiers getting older ("pain and aches"). I said they were not that old during the Gulf War. You agreed when you said they were in their 20s and 30s.

That's all. You can't just say, "Oh OK then, age clearly is not one of the possible reasons"?

In case you need a reminder:

My second thought [on Gulf Syndrome] is that they [soldiers] are older than they were when they went overseas, and getting older leads to aches and pains. It's a natural part of aging, especially if you are sedentary, which most Americans are.

The average age of the grunts (guys running around carrying rifles) in the infantry is about 20. The average age of the National Guard is 36.
