It doesn't matter to you whether CH caused, sought, extended, and enjoyed the social opprobrium his chosen getting-off behavior caused.
How funny that you call him its victim then, rather than its designer, perpetrator, and beneficiary.
Poet did not enjoy the stalking and threats. She was frightened, sickened, and finally made ill by them. X: She was made ill by them. She has PTSD. CH knew about this vulnerability. Her descent into illness is what caused her husband to make his plea to CH.
I know that Poet's illness is of no importance to you, as is CH's enjoyment of the dynamic he sought. It is Alice in Wonderland, in your head.
The stalking, sexual allusions, and threats were CH's, they were to get CH off, not Poet. She did not design his pursuit of her, or his threats.
She asked him many times to stop posting to her. She told him he was frightening her. She told him repeatedly that she had nothing for him. He continued to stalk and threaten her.
I assume that she was gratified and comforted by the support she got from even CH's former friends and allies who were morally offended at his behavior. Duh. And her fixation after she recovered on getting an apology from him, and her offer to forgive the behavior if he would acknowledge it and apologize, I consider neurotic, or at least self-destructive. (She does too.)
