I'm not sure what position you seem to think I have taken since I can't decide which seems to be the best probability. For sure DB is not noted for donating generously. For sure Camphor can say no thanks, they've already demonstrated they know how.

All I've done so far is try to contribute a bit of background since I'v been involved and following the play for a long time. My ongoing interest is quite small now and with a zero adjusted cost base, I'm qhite comfortable whichever way the cookie crumbles.

My approach has always been, and continues to be "watch the people involved" , and I felt that some did not understand the multi layered structure of people. Of course some don't care, they just want to know is it up or down to-day but to me that's boring, I like to ponder who and why>

It's hard to influence a mamba or even swing a cat if you can only reach 4% of it's tail.

Best of luck to you too!

PS talking about Camphor and DeBeers reminds me of the Jmes Bond rerun that I sau recently, where Felix Leiter had tangled with a shark, and one of the baddies described him as "having diagreed with sometning that ate him"

AL

I hope your talking US dollars here! Debeers might not be the fairy GOD MOTHER, but they know the potential of this property, and my guess would be that of a generous offer. $4 to $5 CDN. would be less than 1/4 billion, I would be pleased with 1/2 billion or more.

As for CFV, if their difficult to deal with, it may be a while before them diamonds see light. A lot a work to do on that property and Debeers is the smarter cookie.

Hoping for the best!
