Franchising is not an easy proposition.
Thats why they are retaining people with experience to help them START UP this venture!!!

Or is the secret going to be that I-T offers Happy Meals and play areas for the kids?
I'm sure Mr. Kesterbaum has reviewed the McDonalds franchise, one of the most successfull in the world!!!

Franchising is not an easy proposition.

Sure seems like a reasonable statement to me. It's also a long and arduous process...

There are three phases in developing a franchise system:

1...Reviewing the business for its suitability for franchising Preparation of a franchise business plan
2...Implementation of the business strategy
3...Reviewing for suitability

the majority of worthwhile franchises have been as a result of careful planning and lots of research. Even an established chain such as Budget Travel spent two years studying the concept and developing their strategies before launching as a franchise.

however, our tout seems to think other wise. Or he is at the very least leading people to think that the franchising operation will be ready in about 3-4 months.

Now, regarding the franchising. PABN announced they just hired an
expert to construct a franchise program for IT. Apparently it will not be ready until the Fall.

Think he's just spouting off again, like he did about his declaration about the Board of Directors? Sure seems like his SOP to me. Doesn't he know that credibility is so important in today's world?

I wonder just how fast PABN thinks they're going to get this franchising business off the ground. According to published information outlining these types of business ventures, it could be quite a lengthy under taking. Especially if the desire is to be successful. However, from PABN's PR dated a few short weeks ago, I wonder how much they really looked into this before releasing this information over the wires.

Not only are they going to franchise but they are going to become dominant in the electronic day trading market. Think they plan on all this happening in the fall of 1999 as the tout claims?

Beyond the franchising of IT, what ever became of the office they were supposed to open up in Las Vegas? It's been 7 months since this PR was released, I wonder what their definition of shortly thereafter means in tangible terms.

Look for Insider Trading's second office in Boca Raton, Fla. to be opened in early December 1998, and a third office to open in Las Vegas, Nev. shortly thereafter. #reply-9917959

a few weeks later this PR was released.... think they ever signed that lease or did that go up in smoke with the RMC debacle as they were supposed to share the same address? And they want to open up three more branches by the end of the year? Well, they'd better get crackin'.

Our Long Island office of Insider Trading is up and running. We believe that additional new branches will be online soon. The Boca Raton site is in the process of being wired, and Las Vegas is close to a signed lease. Our intent is to open three more branches by the end of Winter 1999. #reply-9739754

and yet another release to keep that carrot dangling in front of our faces. It was released a few weeks ago...

The Garden City Insider Trading location, opened in December 1998,is the first Insider Trading office for PanAmerican BanCorp. The Boca Raton Insider Trading office opened in February 1999. The company has plans to expand to a Las Vegas office in the near future. #reply-8725698

We used to get updates from the company regarding the progress being made on the Garden City office as well as the Boca Raton office, however, all we've been given to date regarding the opening of the Las Vegas office are adj's such as, soon, and in the near future. Think this has been scrapped?
