He is a Director of Research & Development. He's on the payroll and feeds from the same trough as John Schmitz. Failing to know the terms of his employment, he is a Director and, as such, has responsibilities; duties to the company. Your use of consultant in a pejorative manner to describe his affiliation doesn't change his position or responsibilities one iota
