The only problem I see with your suggestion is that it isn't the subject of this thread.

Dave,
You are right my post should have been OT.

Perhaps the solution would be to start another thread where stocks suitable for AIMing could be discussed and leave this thread for the discussion of the use of the system, implications and modifcations that could be done (ala Vealies), software upgrades, or just general hints and caveats.

Now there is a solution. The only thing I hate to see is the founding of another Thread. Is there not one out there already? These are the ones I show currently.

Subject 12596
This is the place for folks to post their thoughts, questions and comments on the use of AIM for managing the risk of being involved in the Equities markets.

Subject 12889
My attempt here is to realize ABOVE AVERAGE gains by investing in the right families and then select the funds within those families that shows the best overall performance and hold that fund until it stops performing better than the S&P.

Subject 19235
Much of the email that I receive and answer would most likely be of value to many other AIM users.

I believe there are a couple more out there somewhere. How about using the one you started for technical analysis?

Keith

Hi Dave, I see nothing wrong with stocks being discussed here. Another thread might dilute our efforts too much. As I mentioned, I get out of the habit of picking stocks because I don't have "fresh money" very often.

Both Good Stocks and Good Stocks For AIM are welcome. I don't consider either Off Topic.

Best regards, Tom
