And do you include atheists in the list of those whom you believe many to be quietly
living transformative lives?

Of course. I was tempted to be offended that you even had to ask, but it is really my fault for not being sufficiently clear.

OTOH, you will forgive me please for believing that God works even in the lives of aethists, that he/she/it/they will be with you even if you are not now willing to acknowledge being with him/her/it/them.

I even try to change people's beliefs,...

So you are not so different from Chris land and ann angel et all after all. You simply a) espouse a different set of beliefs, and b) try to impose your beliefs different ways (ways you would probably define as less hostile, more civilized, etc.)

But underneath, both you and Chris (and I, and probably everybody on this thread) have beliefs which you believe are right and are superior to other beliefs and that the world would be a better place of if others abandoned their wrong beliefs and accepted your right beliefs.

Please don't be offended. I do not say your are like Chris in matter of belief or manner of pressing it. I DO NOT think you offensive, or obnoxious, or supercilious, or many other things which Chris is. You are refined, and intelligent, and civilized about your way of pressing your beliefs.

But at heart, you and Chris and I and Edwarda and Chuzz and most (all?) others here are alike in believing that in some areas we have truths which others don't yet have, and in believing that it is a good thing for us to try to convert others to our beliefs.
