intelligentspeculator - you have not received a very nice welcome from the thread constables. that's too bad. the qualcomm thread has a generous helping of benjamin graham constituents with bad manners.

for the most part, technical types are considered "chart reading clowns" on the q thread. oh well - to each his own.

Dude...if I sounded rabid, it is because this constant chatter about double tops, double bottoms, pink cheeks and fuzzy inversions is that is causes investors who are new to try to time the market and TAKE THEM OUT of excellent positions like QCOM.

Fine, keep going on and on about charts, etc...the brokerage industry loves this stuff..the more trading the better...in fact I think there is a huge conspiracy organized at some donut shop in the Bronx each morning where the heads of CNBC and the big brokerage houses get together with the technical analysts and decide what to blow out their oral cavities to get people to drag themselves out of bed and trade at their computer (now you guys are trying to extend hours too!) all morning long and worry about their net worth instead of enjoying their family to destroy what values we have left in this country...I mean just listen to the politicians! Return to family values!

And thank you for listening.

Intelligent Speculator,

just ignore that Diamond H guy. He quit his day job to become a day trader last year. After spending all kinds of time and money trying to learn TA, oh well, you can figure his results by his posts to you. His kids were going to go to M.I.T. but now they have to go to the local M.I.T. (Mesa I think, local San Diego joke).

So forgive his crudeness and rudeness. When you drive by Scripps Ranch and see a blond surfer looking dude along the freeway entrance, with a sign that says "will work for QCOM shares", give the guy a buck or two.

Ramsey

ps enjoy reading your posts on the Daytrading Fundamentals thread.
