My friend Ramsey:

Shorting is not gambling when done correctly.
Shorting companies like msft is just plain dumb, imho.
Made a fortune(200k) shorting zitel now investing this $$$ in qcom
One should not short stocks like msft, lu, or qcom
Still short ZITL,ALTIF,PRBZ, companies that have never made $$ and never will.

sure is a nice day
Michael

Jesus Ramsey--I'd kinda think kindly on a MSFT short myself, but IBM and TXN? Gotta tell you dude I own both and each of them makes me want to break into a chorus of God Bless America when I look at my ROI. No wonder you're in such a pissy mood clamoring for still another meltdown--you must have had your ass handed to you by Big Blue and those Good Ole Boys down Texas way unless you're day trading dips. How good is it? Glad you asked.
I've got so goddamned much in IBM I now have to sell a slug cause my portfolio is out of whack--cost basis=20 stones/share. Can you spell 7 bagger? As for TXN, after an early triple, I took enough chips off the table to be playing with the house's capital, if you get my drift. Me not knowing digital signal processors from buckwheat but everybody I see is taking pictures with digital cameras--so the 'free' shares have now pulled off a neat double of their own, which I'm pretty sure equals a 6 bagger over all. Is it any wonder that my affection for the Lone Star State borders on the passionate?
If you have any more "miscellaneous no name losers" that you would care to share, I promise to name it the Chicken Little Portfolio [and laugh all the way to the bank]. Yours in greed, Surfer Mike
