Message to C. Kahn Thank you for a very humanitarian approach to the issues all Americans must face to ensure our survival as a race. You are absolutely right in speaking out on the "anger" issue and I apologize for speaking out when perhaps I should have remained silent on the issue of the Ken Starr Investigation. My reply seems to have led to some very negative attacks on my personal integrity which does not surprise me, since it has become the vogue "If you do not agree with the Message, kill the Messenger" :-) You are correct in your comment that we should all turn to our God whichever one we choose. It is very clear no one else is listening, I get the impression there are too many people who are frustrated with the political powers that are in office at the present time. (They have no clue as to what goes on behind the scenes) God forbid they listen to anyone.Their own "opinion" is quite sufficient in their minds. There are many people in this world with knowledge superior to mine and I learn from them. I believe you have this same "gift " :-) The fastest way to destroy a nation is "Divide and Conqueor" We are divided by Age, Gender, Profession, Sexual Preference, Political Preference, Race, Creed Color, Religion, etc. We are on our way out of Power just as all the great Civilizations before us. Stalin said it best "The USA will be destroyed Morally from Within ". I had hoped that I could bring up the many concerns that I have for our Nation, but that does not seem possible when there is such a character assignation mode in progress. Now to "toss my attackers another bone" I have worked on the Middle Eastern Peace Process for the past 12 years and have seen it come into fruition. Now I await the attack :-) Lisa

CKahn, you may just be right. I am concerned about the same issues that you are. I have no problem with background checks. In today's technology age, waiting periods are a concern. Must be very short with a step down as technology progresses. As to those responsible for teen violence, it is the parent(s) who have the responsibility. This stuff about parents not being able to police kids 24hrs a day is so much poppycock. If a minor commits a crime, the parents should do some time. If one is not willing to accept that responsibility, don't have sex, or make darn sure that conception does not take place. Once the child exists (conception), there is no turning back. YOU, dear parent, are responsible until that child is 18.
