Here is a funny one- used to be illegal to drive barefoot (at least in Newport Beach) because old cars had no plastic on the gas pedals and they got very hot. That law isn't on the books anymore. Just a bit of trivia from my childhood.

I was simply playing a game, listing some of the laws in effect now that were not in effect in the 50's. Does that disturb you or something?

I would suggest that people who have had their children killed in a drunk driving accident would consider those laws very serious and not silly at all.
