During that time have you not followed any contentious threads in which there is no tolerance, usually from the bulls, for dissent from the party line? Perhaps not since your listing of favortie stocks seems to be almost exclusivly large-cap tech. Should a system like you suggest be implemented I think it would be a matter of days before shorts were chased off the website. Would you prefer that?

All you have to do is to have a bunch of lackeys, not even many of them, and you could vote anyone you wanted out. The greatness of threads such as SI is that anyone can post their views no matter how contrary to the prevailing view. I suggest you, Lucius, should also learn to accept differing viewpoints than your own. Get the communist ideas out of your heart and cherish the liberty and the freedom of speech the net offers. Not that there isn't effective censorship here already. Anyone remember my infamous "brown stuff" mail? Wonder where it is now. It has been airbrushed from the thread. It never happened.
