MrGreenJeans, thanks for the CIBCR. Since Bob made a big point about how last month's number was disturbing as to the outlook for inflation and how Greenspan may view same, would you have an opinion regarding if this increased number is a further negative for the market?

Your "ramblings" are most informative.

I am having trouble knowing how to interpret the CIBCR number and what its "units" are. Is this simply the "cost" of a bunch of goods? If so, is the inflation rate indicated by this indicator -
(((107.3-106.3) / 106.3) * 12) or 11% per year?

How can it have previously gone negative given that we have seen no inflation but never really seen deflation. Is there an offset value to relate it to other CPI indexes (CPI, price deflator)? Do we need modify it for seasonal effects?
