Great info. I presume that they can get an idea of what kind of sulphide interval they are dealing with using the crude visual method you discussed earlier. The Cartaway experience was due to a geologist making a statement and the market reacting to it. In Manhattan's case the reaction to the geologists seeing sulphides was to add a drill. This time next week we'll be expecting results to tell us why.

TG1 may remain a resource for now, but a resource in ground is still worth something, even these days. It looks like there is a good chance that they will have other resources to think about, even if TG1 never gets developed. As has been mentioned, there is still a lot of time to resolve this issue. If folks don't want a mine where they can work (many want to) in exchange for newer houses with running water, that's that.

I will check this, but I believe the three year time limit on the option isn't tied to TG1, but to the entire property. From the PR:

Manhattan has three years in which to produce a Feasibility Study and Financing Plan for the development and construction of a mining complex.

This suggests to me that Empresa Minera Tambo Grande can be formed around any of those conditions satisfied anywhere on the property. Even if it was TG1, I'm not sure the town even has to be moved by then.

Moreover, option agreements are frequently extended.

And even if it becomes an issue it means that there was good news since this time. I'm gonna leave the $$ to be made on this investment via production to someone else anyway.

Hello Bruce, I agree with you. These gravity anomalies probably represent sulphides but which ones is the question.

However you seem confident that the town is moving. The cost of this will be included in the overall capital costs of the project which inturn will lower the ROI. It will be expensive but not impossible.
