That is a perfect example of what I just pointed out. You have just 'shared' with us a bit, irrelevantly, changing the subject from the one under discussion-- whether the most recent homily you have offered us is a shallow, psychobabble cliched part-truth or An Eternal Verity-- to which one of us is bigger and more important.

I believe I have hurt your feelings, and you are attempting with that New York vs Detroit silliness to make yourself feel better.

Don't feel bad. This isn't important, Terrence, if you are happy with your life. It's fooling around, essentially.

'Night, all.

E says that your manner of discourse is lacking. You respond - it would be interesting to see which of us has accomplished more in life. But your method of discourse is what she was critiquing. What "accomplishments" are relevant, other than your manner of discourse? Illogical, non sequitur.

What you fail to comprehend is I have already moved onwards to
"New York"

If that is supposed to be proof of ability to think, I'm about 25 years ahead of you. I moved to New York in the 70s, spent my time on Wall Street, realized sooner than you have the intellectual and moral vacuity of NYC, and left for a place where honesty and word of honor still have meaning, where kindness isn't seen purely as weakness, and where the majority of people are still decent human beings.
