EXDS +9 to 145 (290 since IPO). ISLD up 1.5 to 30.5. ISLD has a lot of room to run on a valuation basis (besides their sterling customer list and huge market opportunity).

P.S. Any engineers on the thread who want to answer LJM's technical question about the EXDS versus ISLD networks?

Well -- I'm no engineer, but I do have a little exposure to EXDS and ISLD through work -- and I'm not sure what you mean buy "intelligent network".

The basic concept behind both EXDS and ISLD (and ABOV and INIT) is that they both own a lot of fiber around the US and a little outside. This fiber connects thier data centers. These data centers are simply fortified buildings that host computers that belong to other companies (they belong to the clients). Sometimes they help their clients build their applications too, but that sort of expertise is readily available -- where the networks and facilities that these companies have are not.

EXDS has bigger (better) data centers and better clients. EXDS has a strong US backbone with one line out to London. ISLD adds a connection to Hawaii as well (which may be good as the asian internet numbers increase). Just to compare, ISLD has only 4 data centers, where EXDS has like 16. One way or another, EXDS is by far the leader in this industry...but it's an industry that has a lot of growth ahead of it. ISLD is still young and small -- it may or may not make it to the big time like EXDS, but with a book value of $18/share it's a pretty safe bet at $30.

Later,

Dave
