Michael, My understanding from my basic electronics that I was taught was that there is resistance in any circuit which in turn does create heat and this connection technology does just that in that it has a very low output of heat in comparison to what is currently being used. I don't think you quite understand this technology enough to fully understand how it works. I would suggest you call NPCT and visit with Herb Neuhaus the company engineer.
