I cannot disagree with your post....and expect the last half of this year to be much harder for markets to find new tops. (Don't Forget North Korea)....However, I'm not yet confident all these problems will cause markets to approach the levels of October 98. We may see selling into sideways markets with a downward bias into the years end...get the 2000 year noise out the door and then climb higher. This of course is predicated on no significant changes in the balance of world politics or international monetary systems.

Here's something interesting from Peter Eliades
Towards the end...under "When Do Crashes Occur?"....He mentions a study done on Eclipses that is worth the read!!!

July 22 to July 31...is a critical period with a partial Lunar eclipse of a full moon July 28th.
