<who choose to head to the hills no better than those who flee the military during war>

Ron, I liked some of your statements in that post but the illogic of this one is beyond any possible leap of however abtruse logic!

Disregarding your fall-back to very tired and meaningless cliches,
such as 'head to the hills' (a lazy and parroted generality substituting for specific resultant actions), I would suggest re-thinking your overall statement, and then, hopefully becoming enlightened, re-formulate your sentence so as to achieve higher acceptance.

Ken

< Those who choose to take off and head to the hills rather than planning a role in facilitating a post Y2K recovery are no better than those who flee the military during times of War, letting others carry the awesome burden of fighting it.>

This sounds more like an acceptance speech for being nominated the head of the Democratic or Republican National committee! Bravo!
Get real, Ron.! If more people confronted the issue to begin with years ago, there would be no need for a post Y2K recovery to begin with.
Do you plan on giving up your food and water to the Polyannas, soon to become desperado free-loaders, who have done nothing to prepare?
What ever happened to the ideals of individual responsibility and self-awareness?

Ron,
I didn't ask him to identify his company, agency or whatever. He came on to Flatsville that he was smarter more informed etc.etc.Had he chosen to he could have answered some if not all of my questions.Or he could have said it's none of my business,my lawyers won't let me etc.I also backed off specific questions and asked him to comment on a different more general set of questions that any knowledgeable person could have addressed.Again he chose not to respond what are we to think?

PS I do agree that this and several other threads that I monitor have gotten more radical of late.Personal attacks up usable information down.Next few months are going to be very interesting.
Sincerely
J.L.T.
