Just read the July 30 Investor's Digest with Tony Yue's (Canaccord) analysis and recommendation of Aastra.

He rates Aastra as "an attractive buy for growth oriented investors". Based on his estimates of 1999 EPS of $0.36, and using a PE of 18x earnings, his 12-month target is $6.50.

It's not clear when this report was prepared (the article mentions "recent") but obviously it was done prior to the July 15 release of the Q2 results which show Aastra earning $0.22 after just 6 months. Assuming a more likely full year EPS of 0.45 and his 18x earnings, a more likely target should perhaps be $8.10.
