Chaz. Haven't seen any efforts at fundamental analysis of G*. Bt, I haven't looked on the SU thread for one. Currently I am under the impression that G* performance data is closely guarded and that much of the data required to analyze it quantitatively is not available. Much more just has not developed.

As for 6%, that doesn't seem like a big position but I suppose that 6% represents paid in start up capital. Its size on Q's balance sheet is something we had best check out. Additionally are the $500MM LT receivables. Still, all of this is not to bad unless Q puts more cash into it ir has commitments to do so.

To me the large brick phones are a very important negative. They were not well received at IRID. Still, with G* useing CDMA, S/N should be much better and phones possibly smaller.

It is my understanding that the Globalstar system is critical to the digital cinema revolution according to Loral and Qualcomm. Just read that Disney will be showing the digital version of Tarzan in Orlando at Disneyworld and 2 theaters in L.A. using satellite distribution. I'm assuming they're using the Q's system. If I'm incorrect, can someone enlighten me. Thanks.

Chaz, I think Q! owns 8% of Globalstar but not certain. Not much difference from 6%, but just to keep it right.

There are another 4 satellites going up in a few hours [I hope] which will give them a minimal but workable constellation of 32 once they are positioned correctly in orbit.

<G* has an exclusive contract for that as I recall...>

Your recall is correct. Globalstar has exclusive rights to Qualcomm's CDMA in space.

PS: Charming too eh? Compliments flying thick and fast. I saw we have love on the thread too [who was that again? Morgan? Jim? or somebody...]. Sure is a nice day. Guess we should all hold hands in a circle about now and feel the power.

I warn you because I love you
