I read Richard Ney's books many years ago and actually met him at an Investment show in S.F. in the 70's.

Also Eye Opening. Books most likely out of print but worth the trouble to try to find.

I agree with Mile....the Dent books make an intriguing case for demographics driving demand well into the next century. They are a bit simplistic, but are written for a common audience. I have seen the guy on some talk shows where he has a chance to expound, and he is quite persuasive.

Demographic trends are a critical factor in consumer demand, good economy or bad economy. Personal or business...Dent lays out some trends that indicate a lot of strength.

By the way, the last thirty posts on this thread are starting to get a little YAHOOish. IMHO.
