Sure, take your time, it is not homework<g>....

"Violence to the concept of paternity" is fairly simple: it is essentially not the man's child, since he has no say in whether or not it is carried to term. Such things as suing for support, making the man take responsibility for the child, are anachronisms that are irreconcilable with the theory that it is solely her decision. It is not suppositious, since eventually it has to become an issue, and the logic is clear...

...If the child is not his, why should the man be concerned about the consequences of sex? She can always get rid of it, she can do what she likes....Of course if the man simply wants the child, there is no problem. But if some of the motivation comes from a sense of responsibility, and that sense of responsibility is weakened, it is a problem...When I refer to "predatory behavior", I mean ordinary hunting for tail. Many men already consider "fast women" fair game, all that is needed is to consider the consequences solely "their business", and there is little inhibition left....

...I since there are various disputes on issues like this, and I could not nail any clearcut URLs to prove it, I will wave that, and merely say that plenty of women do use it as back up for birth control, I have known some of them, as has my wife, it is not true that they are all serious about it. If we think that abortion ought not to be trivialized, the way we have gone about things has been a huge mistake. But you need not believe it...

Markus,
Sorry you know I have to breakin.

It could be a mistake, it could have been forced on her(rape/incest), she may have been drunk, or any other reason. either way, it is her body. IMO, the baby is of secondary import until it is born. There is a very real question of weather anyone has the right to tell anyone else what to do with their body. we all have our own opinions, but the question is legitimate.

It is a he or a she, not an it. Changing the wording does not change the truth. If you consider """the baby"""as you yourself called him/her of secondary import, then following your reasoning, old Joe Blow can get drunk and get married one night, have a little fun, but the next morning when the honeymoon is over he can just blow her away cause no one has the right to tell him she is going to bother him the rest of his life..... and abortions due to rape or incest are very much in the minority. If you say that is a lie, then I call you to go to the news media and pull up over a million cases of rape or incest being reported this year.

Once a woman is pregnant it is not just her body. It is their bodies.

This whole statement is one large supposition. It is an opinion and to say simply no, that isn't the effect is just as reasonable.
Because a women can have an abortion, it does not logicaly follow that men will care less about their children and be more prone to abandoning them.

Mark, you got to get out of the vacuum . Of course young men and boys think that . If a girl is on the pill, or even just the fact that abortions are readily available, will change his mind set. It will also change her mind set. It is all part of the plan to numb our nation into the belief that this murder is ok. AND it has worked has it not?

There are also studies which say that isn't true. It is possible to find examples of any sort of behavior, but that doesn't make it statisticly relevant. I personally have heard of few women using abortion as gender control or even as birth control. few women are so
callous to children.

I invite you to go sit across the street from an abortion mill, and watch the girls go in and out. Just watch for a few days. Then come tell me your view of that.

And for you guys with the standard non committal, kiss up statement....
"""There are few things in life more disgusting than men who, when discussing abortion, use the phrase: "I can't tell a woman what to do with her body."...I was at a G.O.P. cocktail party, and a man used that old line on me: "I can't tell a woman what to do with her body." I gave him the logical response: "What about the body inside her womb? What if it's a male body, a little boy? Surely that can't be her body, because she can't be a man and a woman at the same time. Can you tell her, in that case?"""" quoting Kathleen Howley.
