I hope you realize, DCF that this post as well as some others here are pretty offensive to me, and would be to a lot of people (especially women) that adopt a pro-choice position. You don't see the venom that I do when I voice the opposite opinions because there are more here, on these political threads with your position than mine (not in actuality, the posters here are extreme I believe).

One thing I will point out is your constant use of the term "girl". Some girls get pregnant, and a lot of women get pregnant. It seems to me that unless you are discussing abortions for those 18 and under, you should use the term "women". And, along those lines, please consider the situation of a female CEO in her 30s that gets pregnant, either by accident or birth control failure. Accomplished women are people too.

Dan,

<<It is a he or a she, not an it.>>
You are right, it is a baby and not an object. I was wrong to phrase it that way. It wasn't intentional.

<<"""the baby"""as you yourself called him/her of secondary import, then following your reasoning, old Joe Blow can get drunk and get married one night, have a little fun, but the next morning when the honeymoon is over he can just blow her away cause no one has the right to tell him she is going to bother him the rest of his life...>>.

Abortion has been here for awhile. I haven't seen a big increase in honeymoon murders:-) Violent crime in the U.S. has dropped for seven straight years(other than abortion). that shows that abortion is leading to increased violence of the type you mentioned.

<< It is all part of the plan to numb our nation into the belief that this murder is ok. AND it has worked has it not?>>

Our nation does not feel that murderis OK. At least half of our nation doesn't view abortion as murder. NOt even all pro-lifers view
all abortions isn all circumstances as murder.

<<"I can't tell a woman what to do with her body.>> It IS her body.

This is a question, not a basis for argument. doesn't the Bible state that life begins when the child tkes it's first breath? I vaguely remember something to that effect, but I am not sure.
