OK, I will take the role of a pupil here- how does a tax cut move funds out of US equities and balloon our trade deficit?

Do you know the bill? It lowers long-term capital gains taxes, nearly triples the IRA deduction to $5,000, and eliminates the income ceiling for qualifying for a deduction.
