Steve The only aspect that is of interest around IFLY is that they are trying to crack the profitability issues that surround the online airline ticket business. By having an interactive site (interactive CHAT sessions with an agent) they are able to reap full travel agent commissions (capped at $100 instead of $10 for the Net). Essentially they are using the Net to increase the efficiency of their telemarketing business. I heard mention that they are experiencing transaction times cut by 75%-80% for agents completing a sale via the NET compared to the time it takes for a phone sale to be completed... In addition the "look to book" ratio is expected to be substantially higher than on other travel sites - where often the customer ends up calling after researching via the web. It's an interesting business model - while it can't scale like Preview Travel can - they will at least have a profitable model. Earnings due this coming week.... Mark
