The money I have had confiscated from me by Social Security I shall never get back. It is just another form of tax. I will never collect Medicare, Medicaid, etc. because I do not intend to be living in this country. I turned down unemployment "insurance" back in the 1970s when I could have collected on it for a few months, and I have never taken money from any government program because I know the source: theft from other people's wealth.

I will continue to actively oppose, and do my best to undermine and destroy, these evil, immoral, illegal and anti-Constitutional programs.

I am not saying that these programs you mentioned have not become permanent in our society. The truth is that this country was not founded on the principles behind the programs. This country has changed considerably from it's inception and now is much different than our founding fathers intended.

Chris, I have to side with Terry on the subject of Social Security. When I look at how much of my paychecks have been eaten up by "social" taxes, I am horrified. Moreover, my mother and people of her generation never contributed the proportion of their salaries that we do.

Social Security was never meant to provide so heavily to an elderly person's support. You know this as well as I do.

I shall probably collect Social Security--if it is there to be collected--because it was "stolen" from me in the first place. Likewise, unemployment insurance is "stolen" from employers.

I shall never forget LBJ's "Great Society" and the supposed wonders of Medicare and Medicaid. I was dubious then and having watched both systems at work, I remain dubious.
