"Visiting Israel"

A yenta (busybody) from Brooklyn went on a tour of Israel. When she came to a
big beautiful shul, she said "That's lovely. How long did it take to build
it?" The tour guide thought for a moment and replied, "About five years."
The tourist haughtily commented, "In Brooklyn it would have taken no more
than a few months."
They drove on and came to a settlement. "This is lovely. How long did it
take them to build it?"
The tour guide thought for a moment and replied, "About 8 years." The woman
condescendingly, "In Brooklyn it would have taken a few months."
As the rode along and arrived at the Western Wall, the yenta from Brooklyn
gasped, "Look at that structure!"
The tour guide looked out the car windowand snapped, "Good Grief! I can't
believe it - it wasn't there this morning!"
