edamo,

re >>my absence has been solely due to getting a bit bored by the constant flaming of some
idiots, who are too blind to see the obvious...<<

PUHLEEEZE ! ! !

Translation of above quote... Can't stand it when some don't swallow your mischaracterization of other's positions without a peep.

Of course I am just one of the "idiots".

To the Thread....slightly off topic.

In the NTAP CC yesterday, mention was made of DELL's purchase of NTAP products representing about 4% of NTAP revenue, and that this represented mostly "training" units...that DELL was still "learning" how to sell them.

From past experience in other partnering situations, do any of you recall how long it takes DELL to "get up to speed" so to speak with a new product?

Re: ".but expect less then stellar appreciation of stock price, as market allows "mikey" to mature and grow into pe."

You have the perception to see the obvious which is in direct contact to the open eye but which is blinding the masses.

I think it is time for MSD to do what INTC did last year during rising concerns about it's future; ANNOUNCE A HUGH STOCK BUYBACK! That IMO will stifle the bears back into hibernation! And the bulls as it seems are already in play will win the day.

why don't just tell us when the perception changes edamo so we can be wise like you and make lots of money. maybe that's not attainable; being as perceptive as you regarding perception. since not agreeing with your idea of "Dell perception" brands one an idiot; i, for one, certainly don't want to be an idiot. of course, all the analyst upgrades must not qualify as a change in perception as if they did qualify you would have been the first to say so, i'm sure. i hope you don't think i'm being a smart ass because i just want to know where you're coming from and i want to make as much money as you.

since you've already proven yourself in the art of making money and business, by your own words, what else are you buying and holding other than Dell? How's that Dell put you bought holding out (i know, you sold that long ago)? Maybe Dell just isn't your cup of tea to discuss since it makes you want to call people who disagree with you idiots.
