I am glad to see CHKP moving up together with MSFT today. Getting ready to ship the Windows2000 new product is very important to gain future market shares. Checkpoint has been working on new products related to NT5 for quite awhile. It will be another big hit to the VPN markets. I am expecting $3+ per share for the earnings in 2000.

Anybody here practicing TA have a guess as to how far the stock could run in the near-term? I love this company and the stock but I must be disciplined and lighten up. I bought a lot more shares at 30 in the spring during the NETA/AXNT incident and should not get too greedy. I want to be able to buy more shares if (when) we get the next panic. It looks like the company is finally getting some recognition, so I'm not necessarily expecting a CSCO/MSFT related panic again (although could happen), but the overall market risk, particularly with Y2K looming, is considerable. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Mr Freedman has mentioned that the company will soon make some product announcements. Anybody have an idea about the time frame?

P.P.S. I think CHKP should announce a stock split soon. That will instill further confidence in the company and give us an extra pop.
