LOL. A CSR at an AirTouch kiosk yesterday told me that Qualcomm is a good company, but Nokia is "a lot better." He thought the ThinPhone was "a good phone", but he really recommended a VoiceStream plan with a Nokia phone.

They had one ThinPhone left. Given my geographic location, I was shocked to see even one.

I FINALLY SAW THE THINPHONE! At Sprint in Dallas. None were on display and I asked the guy when they would have them. They came in yesterday. (Nokia 6185 out of stock, QCP 1960 out of stock; Sony out of stock.) The ThinPhone is awesome; almost tempted to trade in my Q-Phone.

Supposed "Rumor" re spinoff handset division: Dumbest thing I ever heard. I needed a good laugh to begin the weekend.
