Keith

Informative post, thank you.

"How about DoCoMo converting from GSM to CDMA interface?"

Could you help me out and tell me whom DoCoMo is?

Thanks, Scott

Keith - I believe that DoMoCo uses PHS (personal handyphone system) as its digital standard and not GSM. regards Scott

Keith,

<< you seem to question the validation of CDMA as the chosen air interface >>

I do not question this whatsoever, and that is why I am invested heavily in Qualcomm. UTMS, UWC-136, and cdma2000 will all use a CDMA air interface. Q collects.

I am trying not to confuse a wireless air interface with a wireless technology.

<< The existing GSM players are struggling to figure out the most effective pathway to 3G, which by definition is CDMA >>

I agree with all but the "which by definition is CDMA".
