Hey!~ Podunk Idaho ! has a Great ISP, I can connect at 28.8 and I can stay on, forever, and i pay 50 bucks a month.. I am happy as a clam, because i don't know any better, and i live in podunk Idaho, I can guarantee you that @ Home is not expanding fast to Podunk Idaho...<<gg>>

Unlikely that they would ever be a competitor. Since MSOs regions almost never overlap, and RR is a Time Warner driven ISP, few RR customers would appear in other MSO territories except maybe on a dial up basis. IMO, Its more likely that RR and AHTM would combine operations than compete. A combination would be a real bonus: increases the brand name, economies of scale, IP peering etc. and a host of other great benefits. If horses were wishes beggars would ride....
