i've been following this thread and just have a couple of points to add

1)if you believe in an all-knowing god, you would have to believe in predetermination

2)the biblical and big bang theories, are just that, theories you cannot prove or disprove either one

3)if darwin was correct in his "survival of the fittest" why are there still stupid people

<<My question to those who don't believe in God and choose evolution instead is what happens when we die?>>

Actually, I believe in God, I just choose to believe tens of thousands of scientists over the dead misogynists who wrote Genesis.

However, I asked this exact question of an Aetheist friend of mine (He actually belongs to the Church of Bob, it's online.)

His response was, "You're dead, what does it matter?"

He has no fear of death, because he only values life. He doesn't worry about his immortal soul, and he is still a fairly moral person (as much as most liberals).

I just wonder what his attitude will be once he gets older. It's amazing how that 50th birthday sends 'em flocking back to church.

Ah another false dichotomy -- must choose between 'God' or 'Evolution'

"My question to those who don't believe in God and choose evolution
instead is, what happens when we die?"

Many Christians believe that God did create everything, but we can't be so certain to insist on a literal interpretation of Genesis, so why not view evolution as how God did it.

There is really one split with the accepted evolution model here. The "random" chance mutation may not always be so random.
