lol. Good answer. I DO BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION. However, for your edification, the Jewish faith has Not been an institution for the length of time in its calendar. It is a religion, not an institution. The Roman Catholic Church has been an institution, by which I mean with churches, and a verifiable membership, for 2000 yrs or so. And to boot, I DO BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION as it is presented by the New York State School Board. I must also inform you and anyone else that the Catholic Church also supports evolution, so long as it has God as its "starter", if I may use so crude a word. Ball's in your court. J-14

So only PhDs count now. Can we say "eugenicist"? I've known many people who were doctors of philosophy, and they were so full of sh-- it was quite saddening. It always seems to come down to this: I have a higher degree than you, so I am right. Despite incredible bias on subjects, a large degree of political correctness, and a pretentious, self-agrandizing nature, these particular PhDs are no more enlightening than some college dropouts I've met. Successful, intelligent college dropouts at that. Yes, I went to college, never got a PhD, so I guess that means I'm a moron and should have no say here. But I will say this, you are the dogmatist here. Yes, evolution has its own dogma, and you've been espousing it quite well. This is the only reason teaching evolution bothers me. It's taught as though it is the defining origin of the species. Don't play any of your stupid semantic games with me here. It's taught as though we came from apish creatures. It's taught as a reality, not as a possibility. Twist what you will, TP, it only proves to me how full of it you are.

People who do not believe in evolution are somewhat ignorant. However, people are even more ignorant who choose not to believe in God. The two go hand-in-hand, as states the Roman Catholic Church because what is stated in the Bible, particularly in the book of Genesis is not a literal story of creation. Rather, it is a symbolic tale of the original fall of man which speaks of original sin. Therefore, do not knock evolution because it explains all of the in-betweens and it does not contradict the faith so long as you accept God as the prime mover and the cause of all creation.
