Lee... agree with you... there was a time I keep finding myself on the wrong side of a volatile stock... so I got mad and bought stock in one brokerage and sold short on another. When it went well I'd lose 2 to 3 on one, and win 7 to 8 on the other; when it didn't, it would just sit there and stare at me, unmoving until I get tired and sell/buy to close both. It was a good exercise in stupidity but profitable... of course straddling with combo options and common/underlying can be quite profitable... and less risky for those who know their way around. SF

Lee this is what you need, a good chance to get away and play. <g> If you're both a football fan and a ------- fan, this is the opportunity of the year, when ----- and --- ------ will each speak for 90 minutes at the Hall of Champions Executive Suite at Miami's Pro Player Stadium. ----- will speak from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. --- will speak from 10:30 to noon. Everything starts with a continental breakfast at 8 A.M. The speaking runs from 9 to noon. An open bar starts at noon and stays open to 4 P.M. A buffet lunch will be served from 12:30 to 2:30. The game itself kicks off at 1 P.M. and can be expected to end by 4 P.M. ? unless it runs into overtime. Attendance must be strictly limited to 100. Seats to watch the game will be available in the Hall of Champions itself, which is located at the east end-zone. We'll be giving more details within the next couple of weeks? but in the meantime? to lock in a spot, call 1-800-*-**. The all-inclusive price is $495.
