QUESTION TO THE THREAD

Since it's that time of the season where most of us are turning under our gardens, we're posed with the delima of what to do with all the "not quite ripe" stuff yet.

So first off, How many different ways can you use green tomatoes?

I have ripened them by wraping them individually in newspaper and setting them in a cool darp place in the root cellar. but my success rate is only about 50%. Furthermore, they tend to taste like store vought ones.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Just reading a few of the older gardening posts and thought that I would drop you a note about the bee thing. I use Mason bees. This has worked for me in my orchard and they don't have stingers.
