I think you'll find your position there a bit exaggerated (re: Floyd).
I've lived in NJ long enough to know that most of the "problems" that supposedly crop up (remember medical waste?) are usually BS blown out of proportion by the media or some special interest group.

Hi James,

I don't see any conflict between libertarianism and a love of nature. Governments around the world have been the primary despoilers of nature. The US military, for instance, has been the worst polluter in this country. Please look into the links provided by Dave Rose and myself to see if you agree that there are solutions to the problems of pollution within a libertarian framework. I personally know people who are both fervent environmentalists and libertarians. The two are certainly not incompatible.
