Anthony, I presume some would find it difficult to subject oneself to a vote. On the other hand, I imagine some satisfaction can be derived at receiving "special" and unprecedented attention. With a general predisposition toward goodwill, I conclude that this vote is a foregone conclusion with SI merely looking for the most palatable method of achieving the desired end (reinstatement). Thus, the only point appears to be for each to step to the pulpit for a moment and offer observations or comments - trying this while you were around would have been met with quite a backlash - so, although not a sympathetic ear, at least you're a captive audience. I concur with much of what TLC stated (#175) - most are here trying to utilize SI to learn more about investing and to improve our individual situations. To paraphrase TLC, "the rules (should) protect all the members whether they are new, old, experienced or not". Who you think you are, where you worked, who you know, and where you live is irrelevant. It shouldn't accord you a greater or lesser benefit than the rest. Period. I would venture to guess that most everyone here has significant accomplishments and ample reason to be proud. Many are having or have had quite impressive careers. At a minimum, we have all done something right or we wouldn't have the money to invest or trade. We are not all the same. But getting along is important. The noise, the arguing, the bashing, the hyping, all get in the way of our objective. I tire of the tirades between long and short traders and bulls and bears. I assume I'm not the only one who just wants the information and the analysis - you want to color and spin that's fine - because conclusions are subjective, but when it turns into repetitive bashing and/or hyping it just wastes time. If a company has problems, if a stock is perceived to be overvalued, the facts can speak for themselves. Same with undervalued companies. The loud repetitive hyping is unnecessary and unwanted. Period. As far as I know, I have never been on the opposite side of a trade with you, nor read all of the "battles" that have occurred, but what has crossed my path has been unneccesary in my opinion. I doubt I would be alone in saying that I would have liked to have "learned" some of which you could have communicated, but was repulsed by the "situations" that kept arising on a fairly regular basis. Surely for all your apparent talents some personal work would be beneficial to discover the "common ground" which we all must walk. Nevertheless, this community on SI is best served by the diversity of its talent and the richness of the experiences of ALL its members. I too, "vote" for your return. I hope it brings the kind of "consideration" that so many of your followers already attribute to you. jeff
