Anthony had the following posted:...I chose SI, because it had some rules and some structure, I wil not take this oppurtunity to attack anyone at SI, those words have been said, and that fight has been lost..They did what they had to do, and while I cannot change it, I will forever remember it..We all evolve and mature over time, and I am glad that I shared some incredibly joyous moments with thousands of you. and I have the honor and privelege of continuing to work and learn with hundreds of you, I feel sad , yes, but I also believe this is another lesson upon wich to draw some wisdom from. At times ..I have been generous and at times I have been downright ruthless, but never at the expense of my integrity... Anthony obviously has talent but his large ego is his own worst enemy. Anthony chose SI because of its structure and rules, and then set himself to be above the rules. Some of his mistakes regarding this were because of his self-absorbtion and some because of his youth. SI has in the past reconsidered their decision and allowed expelled former members to return with strict probation. In one particular case that I am aware of this person was unable to live within those rules and he was quickly expelled once again. So this is not setting precedence, the public vote is... Anthony does bring talent to this community and his talent will not be lost should he not post here again. There are many other sites he may post and for a fee one may join his for pay service, so that should not be an issue. While Anthony's apology reminds me of Clinton's,<s> he does state some positives which I believe are sufficient to have his SI membership to become active once again on a restrictive probationary basis. I welcome another opportunity being extended to Anthony. I believe the method for deciding if he may return is flawed and a grievance committee composed of SI and community be considered in the future. That will have its detractors too but may be an acceptable method for consideration.
