Pat or anyone else who has some knowledge of Excel

I am trying to recreate this work-sheet that I use for day trading--the previous file got corrupted.

What I want to do is to establish the following formula in a particular cell (say the cell is e5):

If d3 > d4 then e5 = d3 else e5=d4

What I want is for the value shown in d3 or d4 to be entered into e5 depending on which condition is satisfied.

Can anyone help me figure this out? This is a vital part of a system that I use for day trading.
